Ashdoui is a weaving technique used by the nomads of the Sahara and the Siroua pre-Saharan massif in the Anti Atlas.
  • This technique makes the carpet stronger and more resistant to the nomads' travels. It's a sturdy carpet that keeps warm in winter too, and it's the same technique they use for bournous and djellabas.
  • Made of pure wool and always the work of nomadic women.
  • I have the privilege of meeting the women of Siroua through my work as a mountain guide.
  • We were able to come up with this idea, which enabled us to make these beautiful carpets.
  • 2m/3m and wash at 30°.
